How do I become an EMT?
You can become an EMT by contacting your local fire department. The class can be free, but you must be sponsored by the fire department in order to be eligible to take the class. Each Fire department has different requirements for their members.

There are also other ways that you can become an EMT – such as attending a community college or paying for the local Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute Class.
