The Department of Emergency Services is responsible for Emergency Communications, Emergency Management, and Emergency Medical Services for Caroline County.
We provide:
- High-quality pre-hospital emergency care to citizens and visitors
- Emergency Management for county government
- Fire/Rescue, Law Enforcement, and EMS Emergency Communications, including operation of the 911 center for Caroline County
The department strives for excellence and professionalism in our interactions with citizens, partner agencies, visitors, and staff. As a rural Maryland community with limited access to definitive care, we are committed to providing the highest level of pre-hospital medical care available through Advanced Life Support protocols, quality improvement, training, and education.
